MicroPlace is a revolutionary micro financing website which was launched in early 2007. This site was later acquired by eBay which has made it become one of the giants in this field. Even though there are so many different micro lending sites on the internet this one is popular because of its owner. MicroPlace makes it possible to invest money in worthy causes all over the world. It’s possible to browse the projects without signing in. However if you want to donate then you will need to sign up for an account. Registering isn’t very difficult and shouldn’t take you long. You don’t even need to enter your payment details when registering which is a nice touch. You do need to choose a password that’s at least 6 characters long and contains one letter and number. You will be sent a confirmation email however you don’t have to activate your account.
